From charity fundraisers to food bank support, our efforts aim to create a compassionate and inclusive community for all.
We have successfully raised funds for numerous causes to aid those in need. Highlights of our initiatives include:
Vaccine Drive
The COVID-19 vaccine drive originated from a local GP's concern regarding the wastage of vaccine doses due to the inability to use up opened vials by the end of the day. This occurred during the early stages of the vaccine rollout, when only individuals aged 70 and above were eligible.
Recognising the need to ensure that vulnerable individuals also had access to the vaccine, we collaborated with the clinic to facilitate the distribution of unused doses to other vulnerable members of the community. This resulted in an additional 500 people receiving the vaccine, preventing wastage of precious doses and ensuring the most vulnerable were protected.
The logistics and organisation of the drive were entirely volunteer-led, with some volunteers even assisting with the clinic's regular operations due to the high demand for their services. This was a testament to the courage and strong will of volunteers to serve all. From conceptualisation to implementation, the entire initiative was scaled up within a span of just two weeks.
Aid Delivery
During the pandemic, our volunteers provided essential support to vulnerable individuals in our community. From assisting with shopping to offering a listening ear, we sought to ease the challenges faced by those in isolation.
